About The Book
Hot men, the grim reaper, and an archangel who is—nasty!
A near collision sidetracks two lives.
Cristophe Kingston hasn’t dated since… Okay, it’s been months. Hands in his pockets, he watches an endless line of revelers enter a club he frequents. Something, an odd chill, forces Crist to hurry away and he carelessly lurches into traffic.
Already late for a deadly assignation, Lex Torcher figures what the hell—a perfect diversion. Too many years on earth has Torch craving human touch. The stranger who steps in front of his bike will surely have gentle, soft hands, hands capable of performing what others never do.
Torch’s momentary distraction, his brief interlude, pits him against his boss culminating in an all-out battle for Crist as Torch’s employer is none other than—the Grim Reaper, an unpredictable and greedy monster!
MM Paranormal Romance/ReligErotica

The Review
Tender Distraction introduces two protagonists with clear distinctive voices. Crist especially was a character easy to follow and like. Not only do we journey with him as he deals with his own relationship issues and hangups of his past, but we also join him as he works toward his HEA. Torch was a little more complex. Not only because of the very nature of his supernatural character, but also because his voice became a little lost in the sometimes usual constructions the author appeared to use when writing in his perspective.
Despite a slow start to the novel, there were moments of solid pacing and interesting plot developments in Tender Distraction. There were signs of thoughtful crafting encouraging the reader to delve into Crist and Torch’s world even though at times the narrative was a little rushed and choppy.
With several support characters who were fun additions, they added a mix of unusual and creative voices to the fold. The inclusion of these additional characters, most with strong voices, ensured there was plenty of action and a fast pace achieved.
Combining likable characters and sexy scenes, Tender Distraction could quite possibly offer you a couple of hours of paranormal escapism.
