Happy Holidays from everyone at T.A.G. Your one-stop shopping source for all your killing needs.

It isn’t all stabbings, poisonings, and shootings here at The Assassins’ Guild. We decided to pause that and take a little time to celebrate being alive, and for some, being in love.

This is your friendly communications agent, Mr. No, here to tell you about the holiday fun Mr. H and his boys got up to this one Christmas.

Once upon a time, there was a Bob. This Bob got tasked with three missions. Not just any old ordinary missions, but missions of love…Between guarding Connor, being stalked by Enrique, and being his usual sneaky self, Bob must put into motion three big surprises for his chosen family.

But it’s not all snowman contests and catching Mr. Ti in potentially embarrassing situations while they vacation in a chateau outside of Paris. Oh no, something is afoot. Mr. H won’t let the new problem code-named The Poacher interfere with family time.

So, take a little time out of your busy schedule and join us for a T.A.G. Family Christmas the likes of you’ll never forget.

The Review

T.A.G Family Christmas is the third book in the “Assassin’s Guild”. It’s all about family and the holidays.

“We are one. One Family. One Power.”

Dhaka, Bangladesh is home to the Assassin’s Guild, but Connor (aka Mr. Kr) wants a white Christmas. Of course, Aleksei (aka Mr. H) would do anything for his son.

France is the destination! And Bob is especially busy, as certain people have been asking his help to plan super-secret surprises!

The family is off to Montsoult, where they have a beautiful chateau awaiting them. There are so many spectacular places to enjoy, so Connor and Yoshi are off too!

In Paris, the two take in the Champs Elysee and the Arc de Triumph. Connor is looking for some very special gifts for certain people, so they head to Tiffany’s.

As they make it back to the chateau, Aleksei has a surprise for everyone, especially Connor. They will be heading to Coupvray, France, for their own private day at Le Parc Magique.

Everyone is in the spirit and having a wonderful time, but then something interrupts them. The Poacher has stolen another job from the Guild, and Jasir (aka Mr. Ti) is ready for action.

Although Jasir is ready to end the Poachers’ actions, Aleksei stops him. Aleksei doesn’t want the joy and relaxation of the holidays to be ruined. Plus, there are so many more surprises to come!

Carothers brings the family spirit and warmth of the holidays to the Guild, and the story is filled with the usual humor, banter and kinkiness. I was particularly intrigued with the significance of the pendant of the guild crest and the history of the Black Dragon and Masters who have disappeared, and who have a mysterious way of calling on the Assassin’s Guild.

It’s quite the reunion, as so many characters make an appearance: Aleksei & Nigel, Yoshi & Dmitry, Connor & Asbjorn, Mr Pa & Mr Pu, The Haitian and The Frenchman, Duke Wellington, Bob, Enrique, Jasir and Francois.

There are more secrets too! What will happen between Bob and Enrique? What is Bob hiding? Who is Nicola, and what is he up too?

The next “Assassin’s Guild” tale is “T.A.G. You’re Found” – I can’t wait to see what D.G. Carothers has planned for the Guild next!

Hi, I’m Maryann, I started life in New York, moved to New Hampshire and in 1965 uprooted again to Sacramento, California.  Once I retired I moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in 2011 and just moved back to Sacramento in March of 2018.  My son, his wife and step-daughter flew out to Florida and we road tripped back so they got to see sights they have never seen.  New Orleans and the Grand Canyon were the highlights. Now I am back on the west coast again to stay! From a young age Ialways liked to read.

I remember going to the library and reading the “Doctor Dolittle” books by Hugh Lofting. Much later on became a big fan of the classics, Edgar Alan Poe, Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker and as time went by Agatha Christie, Ray Bradbury and Stephen Kingand many other authors.

My first M/M shifter book I read was written by Jan Irving the “Uncommon Cowboys” series from 2012.  She was the first author I ever contacted and sent an email to letting her know how much I liked this series.  Sometime along the way I read “Zero to the Bone”by Jane Seville, I think just about everyone has read this book!

As it stands right now I’m really into mysteries, grit, gore and “triggers” don’t bother me. But if a blurb piques my interest I will read the book.

My kindle collection eclectic and over three thousand books and my Audible collection is slowly growing.  I have both the kindle and audible apps on my ipod, ipads, and MAC. So there is never an excuse not to be listening or reading.

I joined Goodreads around 2012 and started posting reviews.  One day a wonderful lady, Lisa Horan of The Novel Approach, sent me an email to see if I wanted to join her review group.  Joining her site was such an eye opener.  I got introduce to so many new authors that write for the LGBTQ genre. Needless to say, it was heart breaking when it ended.

But I found a really great site, QRI and it’s right here in Sacramento. Last year at QSAC I actually got to meet Scott Coatsworth, Amy Lane and Jeff Adams.
