About The Book
Werewolves are apex predators. So why does she feel like prey?
Territory, honor, the trust of her peers – Jordan Abbey has earned none of these from the supernatural residents of Rancho Robles. The werewolves shun Jordan as a creature without honor for siding with the vampires. The vampires dismiss Jordan as an unruly pet who needs to be kept on a much shorter leash. Chased out of the wilderness and not allowed to shift within the city, she is without any place for her inner wolf to run free.
Someone is killing the servants of vampires. Soon vampires themselves fall victim. Each attack is linked directly to Jordan, fueling rumors that she is working to undermine the vampires’ grip on the city. The werewolves dog her steps, harassing her whenever and wherever they can.
Then, in the heart of vampire territory, the corpse of a werewolf who bullied Jordan is discovered. The children of the Wolf and the Bat are ready to go to war, and Jordan is caught squarely in the crossfire. Can one woman prevent the annihilation of the only place she calls home?
The Review
It’s been three months since Jordan was attacked and turned into a werewolf, and three months since she rejected Alpha Shane’s invitation to join the pack. Now as a famulus with Montgomery as her patron, she is living between two worlds – vampire and werewolf. She has finally been able to shift, but regardless, she is hated by both vampires and werewolves.
The only thing keeping the vampires from attacking her is that she is now considered family. The werewolves, on the other hand, could hardly care less. Angela, Alpha Shane’s daughter, doesn’t hesitate to attack her every chance she gets. Thorn has been living with her and Montgomery now, and both men do everything in their power to protect her.
When famulus are being killed, the blame falls on Jordan, since the deaths are made to appear as animal attacks. Then vampires are found dead too, and once again all the evidence points to her. She finds herself between a rock and a hard place, with no way to prove her innocence. Then werewolves start turning up dead. The target on Jordan’s back is bigger than ever.
She is living between two worlds, vampire and werewolf, and neither of them are her allies. Then someone from Jordan’s past shows up, and things go from bad to worse.
Chaos Hunt is filled with surprises, lies, betrayal, secrets and violence, as Jordan struggles just to exist. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Four stars.

I am an avid reader the mother of 3 sons and grandmother to seven grandchildren. Since retiring I have been doing more reading while volunteering as a CASA worker. CASA is an organization that works with the family court system to ensure that children are in the best living situation. There are way too many children that get overlooked in the foster care system and I visit homes and make visits to the parents.
