About The Book

Dallas is a hockey player who considers himself an enforcer. When he gets in too many fights, his PR manager has a publicity idea.

Morgan enters the Win A Date With The Hockey Player contest. He wins.

They have a great time on their date and Morgan wants to spend more time with Dallas who is hiding the fact that he is gay from his fans and teammates.

Will their relationship be strong enough when Dallas is traded and has to move?

The Review

A short and sweet hockey romance that gives Morgan the chance at a date with his dream guy and hockey player, Dallas.

Dallas has made the decision not to come out but, of course, that means that he’s never had the chance to date a guy. Morgan is his chance as he trusts that he won’t say anything and he loves being with him. They do make a good couple and clearly have a good chemistry. It’s very much a slow burn romance for the couple.

Dallas has to decide what it is that he wants more and it brings a bit of tension and drama to the story with him having to move away when he is traded to a different hockey team.

Overall, I enjoyed the story. It has some good secondary characters that help to boost the story. It’s one that I feel could make for a more entertaining romance and coming out if it was longer, but it still has a strong story throughout.

The Reviewer

Hello all, my name is Xanthe and I am excited to be a reviewer for the PRG.

I read a lot, every night for at least 4-5 hours and I love to get lost in the world that an author has created. The best ones leave you wanting more and at a loss for words to describe just how good it is but I’ll try my best.

I live in a small town in South West England, just me and my dog Bonnie. I work part time in administration and really enjoy my job and the people I work with which I am very aware is not always the case!

I’ll read pretty much any sub genre within the mm genre. Since discovering it a few years ago, I rarely read anything else. One thing I won’t touch is horror, a definite no no for me!

Never ask me what my favourite anything is as I’ll have to give you a list of about ten or twenty things. How am I able to pick one food, book or film out of so many that I love?
