About The Book
Marcus is an American in Brazil for Carnivale, expecting… he’s not sure what. But after a heated encounter in an alleyway with a masked man, Marcus finds himself in a cat-and-mouse chase across the city, searching for his mysterious lover. A series of charged trysts leaves Marcus only wanting more: more time, more answers, and more revelations. However, Carnivale has to come to an end — will this affair be over when the sun rises?
The Review
Marcus is an American in Brazil for the Carnivale, where he meets a strange man wearing a mask. Neither he nor the man can communicate, since they don’t understand each other’s language. The only language they share is the language of love.
Every night, Marcus and his masked man meet up, and every night their meeting is full of excitement and passion. What happens between the two men is not something I will share but I will say it was a very steamy and hot book.
This was a very short story, but so well written that I was glued to every page.

I am an avid reader the mother of 3 sons and grandmother to seven grandchildren. Since retiring I have been doing more reading while volunteering as a CASA worker. CASA is an organization that works with the family court system to ensure that children are in the best living situation. There are way too many children that get overlooked in the foster care system and I visit homes and make visits to the parents. I was born and raised in New York and my husband of 50 years and I live in Upstate New York.
