Shifters and Paranormals face extinction if they do not begin to mate and begin having children again. The problem is if this happens the Gods will become extinct right along with them. A plan is formed and part of that plan is to switch powers between mates until they claim each other. The changes have been made now the rest is going to be up to them.

Waking up to find out you’re a panda instead of the god you have been raised to be is shocking. Discovering your powers have been switched with your mate’s is a major reason to panic especially when your shifter mate is destroying everything around you with earthquakes and tornados. Can Loki convince Gaby that they were meant to be or will the man destroy them all from his fear.

Excerpt:

Gaby barely held back a growl, when the man sat on the stage area and again began to speak. “Allow me to introduce myself. I am the Norse God, Loki. Now before we get things started, and because we didn’t want any issues with you guys finding your mates and not paying attention, we have removed the scent of those in this room until we’re finished. At that point, if you want to stick around and see if you can find your mate tonight, you are more than welcome.” Loki gave an impish grin, saying, “And trust me, you might want to do just that after you finish hearing what I have to say.”

Loki stood up once more and began to walk up and down the stage looking around the room as he spoke, “For those of you that think I am an insane man, allow me to introduce some friends of mine that you may have heard a thing or two about.”

A loud clap of thunder and the bright flash of light had Gaby rapidly closing his eyes. When he could open them once again, three tall and very good-looking regal men stood on the stage behind Loki.

“This can’t be happening.” Frazer murmured.

Loki walked to the first man. The guy had long white wavy hair with a beard that went almost to his waist. It was just as white and his bushy-style mustache didn’t seem to deter from his distinguished look—even the fisherman-type hat he wore and the spear-like staff he held didn’t take away from the man’s appearance.

“This is the man that took me in as a young baby. Although he never adopted me, I called him Father, but you may know him as Odin, the God of wisdom, poetry, war, death, divination, and magic.” Loki said, as he then made his way to the next man.

This man was taller than Loki by at least six inches. He had light brown, curly, shoulder-length hair, with just as curly of a short beard, with a mustache that was as white as Odin’s beard and mustache. He also had a thin gold crown wrapped around his forehead. The man stood tall and proud holding a small bow-like staff in his hands as he looked straight ahead without saying a word.

“This fine man you may or may not recognize. You might know him as the “shining father” or the God of light and sky, and Protector of state and law… I know him as a royal pain in the ass. If any of those names doesn’t ring a bell, then maybe Roman God Jupiter might help you a bit.” Loki said with a sarcastic smile, then went to the next man.

People were gasping and whispering as Gaby could only focus on Loki. Gaby watched the way Loki’s hips swayed as he sauntered over to who could only be Zeus himself. The Greek God of thunder and ruler of all gods, also known as the father of gods and men. “Holy shit!”

“That has to be Zeus.” Redgee muttered in awe.

Nodding, Gaby licked his suddenly dry lips. Zeus might not be as sexy or as luscious as Loki, but the man came damn close, and he had to be at least a foot taller than Loki. Zeus’s wavy thick white hair, with a short full white beard and mustache didn’t make him look old, it made him look noble and robust, and the trident he held in his hand made him look fierce and scary as hell. The power coming from that stage had Gaby’s hair standing on end, and his panda ready to make an appearance. It took all Gaby had not to shift and run like hell.

“Okay, you can have Loki. I’ll take Zeus.” Redgee whispered.

Gaby snorted, “You’d piss yourself if he even looked in your direction.”

“True, but a man can dream.” Redgee replied with a smirk.

“Now this is a man that needs no introduction, but I will anyway. Meet Zeus, God of—”

“Loki, will you just get on with it.” Zeus ordered.

Loki turned back towards everyone in the room, rolled his eyes, and shrugged, “I think he’s not getting any lately or his lightning bolts have zapped all the fun out of the man. He’s wound a bit tight or his G-string is crawling too far up his ass.”

“Loki!” Zeus snapped.

Letting out a loud sigh, Loki grumbled, “Fine, fine, fine. Geez, this is Zeus. You would think a man could introduce the people that are getting ready to change their lives as they know them to be however he wants.”
Councilman Amos nervously asked, “What do you mean?”

Loki sat on the top of the stage, swinging his right leg back and forth. His attitude and playfulness had Gaby smiling, and his panda began to settle. Gaby just knew that if he ever had a chance to sit and just talk with the man, he would be in stitches laughing from his playful nature. That’s when he noticed Loki looking at the councilmen’s table with a smile that gave Gaby chills.

“Since the big guy wants me to move things along a bit quicker, you’re fired!” Loki snapped his fingers and the councilmen’s table along with all the councilmen disappeared and a new empty table stood in its place.

I loved this book. A new way to make all paranormals and humans find their mates. The idea, the gods come up with, isn't really thought through, and havoc is inevitable. Poor Gaby gets really scared, and creates a mess, but thanks to Odin, there is not much of a damage left. He and his mate Loki have to solve some problems, before they can finally start their mated life together.

I really enjoyed this!! It's looking like a new series I'm really gonna enjoy. I don't need super dark, all angsty drama in every book I read! This had some spots that had me cracking up so hard but also has some deeper, meaningful issues they're dealing with. Not often you find out you could be one of the almost extinct shifters around!
It took me a chapter or so to get into it all, new series, had to figure out who was who! After that it was pure enjoyment watching Gaby learn he was stronger then he thought and Loki finding out he's more then just a lackey to the Gods!
Way to make me want more now......have to see who gets switched next!
Be waiting for more!
