About The Book
An innocent hiker crosses paths with a creature long forgotten in human memory, except in folklore.
Humans, so brave and reckless. All ego with short-term memories. Sten has not seen one for ages. His home by the waterfall has been forgotten and worn down as he felt his spirit, thin and fragile, a fraction away from splintering. With his violin in hand, Sten intends to play one last song farewell then it is time to move on.
But a young man interrupts his solo, insisting Sten teach him the song instead.

The Review
A short, but sweet novella about two characters who meet by chance, one is a hiker, the other a mythical creature. The story is fairly short, so I don’t want to give too much away, but if you’re in the mood for a spooky-but not ahhhh!! scary-story about two unlikely “people” who fall in love give this a chance. I especially enjoyed the dialogue and the descriptions, which gave you insight into Sten’s loneliness. Don’t pass this one up!

In writing this bio I am taking a rare break from reading! I always have a book on hand just in case there is time to sneak in a chapter or two. As a military spouse and a mom of two boys, it is amazing how often I am hurrying up to wait. Luckily for me I don’t have a favorite genre so I get lots of fun authors to choose from. My education was in sociology and mental health counseling, so stories with strong character development are my favorites. Happily Ever After is the best part of romance for me because real life is hard enough.
