About The Book

Hi. I’m Mr. No, your friendly communications agent for The Assassins’ Guild AKA T.A.G. I’ve been authorized by the head honcho himself, Mr. H, to release approved records from the agent files.

Agent Code Name Mr. W was recovering from a near death debacle by way of an easy assignment in a small mountain town. Red flags sprang up immediately around the seemingly innocent English professor. Determined to get to the bottom of the mystery Jacob Peters presented, Mr. W made plans to do what he did best, watch , wait , and then capture and interrogate.

But even the best laid plans can go awry…Find out what brought Mr. W to his knees in this first release from the archives of The Assassins’ Guild.

Attention: This book contains explicit sexual content between consenting assassins and not so innocent professors. There are depictions of male chastity, breath play, watersports, humiliation, and torture by eighties hair bands with ginger sprinkles on top.

The Review

Yoshi Turgenev, aka Mr W, grew up in the midst of the Assassin’s Guild. All he ever knew was Mr H, a contract killer and a father that he loved. Yoshi was well taken care of, and educated in various interesting subjects.

His first experience as an assassin was in his teens, and now at twenty-two, he’s been an exceptional assassin for seven years. But something went wrong on his hundredth assignment, and he still carries shame and confusion about his failure.

Still, the assignments don’t stop. and now there’s a new mark to follow.  Someone has a contract out on him, and Yoshi proceeds to do what he does best. But he finds this particular mark is a serious problem. He’s very distracting, and Yoshi can’t keep his mind on what he needs to do.

Jacob Peters is a professor, an older attractive man. Doing his research, Yoshi discovers something unusual about Jacob. In just six days, Yoshi’s plan will have Jacob talking to him.  Just who is this Jacob Peters, and what will be revealed?

“T.A.G. You’re Seen” has a dark psychological theme, with heavy BDSM and kink play.

The story starts in a form of a dairy told by Yoshi. He keeps track of all his feelings, and the activities that lead up to his confrontation with Peters.  It’s a a tale of two men and an unrequited love, including betrayal, choices taken away, and grappling with how to move forward. The twists and surprises are mind boggling.

Along with Yoshi and his mark, there’s some very intriguing characters in this one: Connor Foley, Enrique Santana, Mr H aka Aleksei, Mr Th and Oz.

T.A.G. You’re Seen is not what I thought it would be – it’s a suspenseful, page-turner, and very entertaining. D.G. Carothers did an amazing job in this first book in “The Assassin’s Guild” series, and I can’t wait to read what’s next.

Hi, I’m Maryann, I started life in New York, moved to New Hampshire and in 1965 uprooted again to Sacramento, California.  Once I retired I moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in 2011 and just moved back to Sacramento in March of 2018.  My son, his wife and step-daughter flew out to Florida and we road tripped back so they got to see sights they have never seen.  New Orleans and the Grand Canyon were the highlights. Now I am back on the west coast again to stay! From a young age Ialways liked to read.

I remember going to the library and reading the “Doctor Dolittle” books by Hugh Lofting. Much later on became a big fan of the classics, Edgar Alan Poe, Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker and as time went by Agatha Christie, Ray Bradbury and Stephen Kingand many other authors.

My first M/M shifter book I read was written by Jan Irving the “Uncommon Cowboys” series from 2012.  She was the first author I ever contacted and sent an email to letting her know how much I liked this series.  Sometime along the way I read “Zero to the Bone”by Jane Seville, I think just about everyone has read this book!

As it stands right now I’m really into mysteries, grit, gore and “triggers” don’t bother me. But if a blurb piques my interest I will read the book.

My kindle collection eclectic and over three thousand books and my Audible collection is slowly growing.  I have both the kindle and audible apps on my ipod, ipads, and MAC. So there is never an excuse not to be listening or reading.

I joined Goodreads around 2012 and started posting reviews.  One day a wonderful lady, Lisa Horan of The Novel Approach, sent me an email to see if I wanted to join her review group.  Joining her site was such an eye opener.  I got introduce to so many new authors that write for the LGBTQ genre. Needless to say, it was heart breaking when it ended.

But I found a really great site, QRI and it’s right here in Sacramento. Last year at QSAC I actually got to meet Scott Coatsworth, Amy Lane and Jeff Adams.
