“Ty, Ty, Ty! Holy shit man! You’re not going to believe this!” Garrett yelled as he came sprinting down the main hallway of Kemp Hall.
“What, what, what?” I said just before Garrett slammed into me in a full run almost knocking me down. He ran into me hard enough to knock all of my books all over the floor. Then he grabbed me in a bear hug of sorts as he continued to jump up and down, dragging me along for the ride.
READ MORE“Ty, I got a 100% on my algebra exam! A 100%! I passed! I kicked …, a 100%! I don’t think I have ever gotten a 100% on any exam in my entire life. Can you believe I got a 100%?”
“Absolutely, I believe it! This is wonderful Garrett!” and with a huge smile I said, “Either your tutor is a magician, or you’re an absolute genius.”
“Ok Mr. Magician, when can we start tutoring for the next exam?”
“Damn! There is a drastic change in perspective. And it’s awesome too! I guess the famous old saying is true.”
“What old saying?”
“Nothing succeeds like success.”
“Who said that Ty? And what does it mean?” He asked with a perplexed expression on his gorgeous face.
“It means being successful motivates you to strive for more success. You got 100%, hence you wanted to start studying so you can get another one.”
“Garrett, I don’t even know who said it, so let’s make it your next homework assignment to find out. You can look it up and let me know who said it. As for when we can start tutoring for the next exam, hopefully we can start soon. But we definitely cannot start until you acknowledge you no longer believe you are stupid. Will you do that for me?”
“Ok, I’m not stupid, but you’re still Mr. Magician.”
Still smiling I leaned in and whispered, “Yeah, and if we weren’t standing in this hallway, I’d show you some magic. I would kiss you and … you silly! I’m super happy for you, Garrett. Congratulations! And when we get somewhere private, I’m going to expect you to tell me you’re not stupid in such a way so I am convinced you truly believe it.” After picking up my books, I bumped him playfully with my shoulder as I started us walking down the hall toward our classes. Garrett was still grinning from ear-to-ear.
All day long, every time I saw him, he was totally wound up. I had never seen him so excited and ebullient before. He was bouncing off the walls and telling everybody he knew how he had passed his algebra exam.
I’m so proud of you, Garrett!
He had me so excited, I called my mom and asked if I could bring him home to dinner again that night. When I explained his accomplishment, she said she would do something special for dinner.
When I asked Garrett if he could come to dinner, he said it wouldn’t be a problem since his mom was out of town taking his sister to another competition and his dad was gone on an overseas business trip for six weeks.
Again, I am stunned they would just empty the house and go away leaving you alone for days at a time with no car to drive.
At basketball practice after classes, Garrett was on fire. He was all over the court, chewing people up on defense, and hitting about 80 to 90% of his shots. Even the coach was astounded. He asked me what was going on, so I explained. Then he had a huge smile on his face the rest of the practice as well. Everything combined, including Strock being out with a broken nose, made for a wonderful practice. No one said a peep to Garrett about being queer.
By the time we arrived at my house, Garrett was still wired and talking nonstop. When we sat down to dinner with my parents, he went on at length telling them about how we had studied together, and I had tutored him. I was actually in somewhat of a panic the entire time he was talking about the tutoring for fear he might mention the incentive ‘package’ which helped to motivate his interest in studying. Fortunately Garrett seemed to retain enough situational awareness so he didn’t disclose any of our more private activities.
… That was too close for comfort. The last thing I wanted to do tonight was have to explain how Strip Algebra and Algebra For Sex were played.

COLLAPSE"…The sex scenes in this part of the series are as hot as the previous books but you will definitely feel more passion in them as the two guys are now lovers and it shows more in their body language and dialogue. There is a beautiful romance between them and a clear understanding. Of course, out of the two Garrett is still the one who is more vulnerable due to the circumstances and family but Ty was there for him whether it was to help him with homework, martial art training, or to make him understand himself and that it is OK to be his true himself regardless of his sexual orientation. Ty Debauchee has brought these two guys into a very solid relationship and I am very eager to see where he will take them in the next book. Loved it…"
