Xavier had to learn to control his temper when Zach Brady was around. It was hard to walk into the club and see him standing there smiling with his brothers and sister, talking with them like everything was fine and he wasn’t an asshole.
“Either your mind is somewhere on another planet or I’m losing my touch,” Seb said. He nipped the inside of Xavier’s leg before he sat up.
Damn it. What the hell was he doing?
“I’m sorry, baby. You haven’t lost anything. You’re still the sexiest man that ever lived,” Xavier said as he pulled Seb up to lay on his body. He hugged him tightly.
“Well, something is wrong. Has been wrong for weeks now,” Seb said. He nudged his cheek into Xavier’s neck. “What is it? Let me in, Xavier. I want to help.”

He clasped their hands together. “Did you know that Malachi is going to help Phillip find out what happened to his mother and who his biological father is? You missed that last night when you wouldn’t join us at the bar.”
Xavier’s heart began to race. No. There was no way Phillip could find out anything about Madeline. Shit! Was Zach there when they were talking about it? If he says one word about Madeline, Xavier would kill the bastard.
“Was Zach there when Phillip was talking about her? What did he say?” He tried to stay calm, but he didn’t want Zach to open his damn mouth.
“That’s a funny question. But now that you mention it, Zach did excuse himself when Malachi brought up the fact that the only information, he had come up with was her name. Madeline James. Did you know her very well?”
